ABOUT WORLDLYVISIONS PHOTOGRAPHY
Worldly Visions Photography is a Portland based business run by Nick Bostic & Dawn Laderer. We take inspiration from mostly outdoor subjects. Both of us are also SCUBA instructors which have allowed us to bring the beautiful underwater world to you. All of our photography has been taken on general outdoor excursions & vacations to areas all over the west coast and Hawaii.
Once a picture has been taken the rest of the work is completed at home. We do the entire printing process, make our own matting using acid-free materials, and on occasion make our own frames as well.
UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY
Being SCUBA instructors has taken us on many grand adventures through our worlds oceans, but shooting underwater photography in the Pacific Northwest takes some patience. That's why we try to do as much underwater photography on our short vacations to warmer locations. However, there is always something exciting and different to be seen underwater. We entered into SCUBA instruction to share the underwater world with others, but for those unable to take the plunge, we shoot underwater photography to share with you.
MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY
Our macro photography allows us to enjoy the small things in life...literally. Small things are amazing and having a high quality digital camera allows us to get very close, highly detailed macro photography. Our cameras see these subjects better than our naked eye and that's part of our wonder with macro photography.
